The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 was a big widebody trijet that carried 350 passengers in a mixed-class configuration. Based on the earlier DC-10, it featured numerous improvements, including new systems, winglets, and a smaller horizontal stabilizer, that provided enhanced fuel efficiency and greater range and capacity. Production of the MD-11 ended in 2001, and most of the MD-11s in service today operate as freighters. This artifact is a genuine window from an MD-11 jetliner. The window frame has been buffed and polished to a gleaming satin finish. The clear window panel was cleaned and then replaced into the frame to create a stunning display piece (a hanging wire is included on the back). Certificate of Authenticity is included.
